At Fitnessdepot, we stand for the quality and durability of our products. We comply with European and Belgian legislation regarding conformity, meaning you can expect the items we supply to meet reasonable expectations. If this is not the case or if a product develops a defect, we will do everything we can to resolve the issue for you.

Our warranty

  • Own brand lines:
    On all items from our own brand lines, we offer a standard lifetime warranty on frames and structures, and up to a 3-year warranty on other moving parts. This means that in addition to the standard statutory warranty of 24 months, at Fitnessdepot you receive an additional 12 months of extra warranty, bringing the total warranty period to 36 months.
  • Typically, this includes 3 years of warranty on cables, pulleys, and bearings, plus a lifetime warranty on the frames. Should moving parts be needed after a decade, we can supply these at net prices since we always keep spare parts in stock at our warehouse.
    We offer this extended warranty as standard with every order, at no extra cost, because we trust in the quality of our products.
  • Third-party items:
    For items from third parties, meaning those not originating from our own brand lines, the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer apply. You can find the warranty period for each item in the specifications on the product page in our webshop. When the warranty period is not listed, the standard statutory warranty of 2 years applies. You can always request the warranty period for a specific item from our customer service.

Questions about the warranty? Contact us!

What the warranty covers

The warranty covers the free repair of defects that occur during the warranty period and are covered by the warranty. We determine ourselves whether we supply a replacement part, repair the product, or exchange it. Please note that the installation or dismantling of replacement parts or items is not covered by the warranty and must be arranged by the customer.

In the event of defects, we will ship the replacement part or item at our expense, or collect the defective product for repair. Replaced parts and items left with us become our property.

Business customers

For business and commercial customers (such as gyms, personal trainers, physiotherapists, hotels, associations, schools, etc.), different warranty terms apply. Please contact our customer service for more information or consult our general business terms and conditions.

Warranty exceptions

Our warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper use, overloading, installation errors, assembly errors, or lack of maintenance. Minor paint damage on powder-coated or painted parts, minimal surface rust (which is easily removable) on steel parts, signs of wear on contact surfaces (such as paint, varnish, and coatings), and wear and tear from use (such as on upholstery, floor coverings, cables, and elastic bands) are also not covered by the warranty.

Our strength equipment is designed for intensive use, but wear resulting from high mechanical stress is excluded from the warranty. Paint damage caused by contact between two metal surfaces, such as weight plates and barbells or frames and accessories, is also not covered by the warranty.

Wear parts, such as cushions and upholstery, steel cables, pulleys, elastic bands, plastics, rubbers, coatings, and floor coverings, are not covered by the warranty. Electronic components and computer accessories are also excluded from the warranty unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Depending on the coating, corrosion or rust may occur on our barbells due to dirt, moisture, sweat, and chalk powder. Bending of barbells is also often excluded from the warranty, as they cannot permanently deform under normal use. You can find more information about the maintenance and use of barbells here.

Reporting damage

If an item gets damaged during use or develops a defect within the warranty period, you can report this to our customer service. For prompt processing, we kindly ask you to provide the following information:

  1. The order number or invoice number of the purchase;
  2. A detailed description of the damage or defect and the circumstances that led to the damage;
  3. Photos or videos clearly showing the damage or defect.

Upon receipt of your report, our customer service will review the issue and contact you as soon as possible regarding the procedure. If the defect is covered under warranty, such as material or manufacturing defects, we will replace or repair the item or part free of charge. Damage resulting from improper use is not covered by the warranty.

Our extensive parts warehouse and specialized workshop allow us to quickly repair or replace defective parts. If a part is not immediately available, we order it from the manufacturer, which usually has a fast delivery time. Please note that replacing parts is not covered by the warranty, and you are responsible for the installation yourself. Our customer service can assist you with this if necessary.

Damaged upon receipt

If your item is damaged upon receipt or does not work properly, we kindly ask you to report this to our customer service as soon as possible, but no later than within 3 days. If you notice the damage upon delivery, please ask the carrier to make a note on the proof of receipt and take clear photos of the damaged shipment. Please note that minor paint damage on powder-coated or painted parts is not covered by the warranty, but you can always send us photos so we can assess it.
