Why this model? More than € 75 more expensive than the set with Tri Grip plates (€ 549.99). That extra cost pays off if you drop the bar during cleans, snatches, or heavy deadlifts; if you only train in a controlled manner, the Tri Grip set will suffice.
Space and ceiling: The bar is 220 cm long: expect about 2.60 m of free width. If you plan on dropping it, lay down a rubber floor of at least 2 cm thick.
