The Polar H9 is a reliable heart rate sensor with a chest strap that measures your heart rate directly from your chest, providing greater accuracy than wrist-based measurements. Thanks to Bluetooth, ANT+, and 5 kHz connectivity, you can effortlessly pair the sensor with sports watches, fitness equipment, group fitness equipment, and training apps on your phone.

The included Polar Soft Strap fits comfortably and stays securely in place, whether you are running, attending a group class, training on cardio equipment, or even swimming. The sensor responds immediately to your body's activity, delivering constant and precise heart rate monitoring, which forms the basis for reliable insights into your calorie burn.

The H9 works with dozens of training apps, including Strava, Nike+, Endomondo, and MyFitnessPal. Combined with Polar Beat and Polar Flow, you can determine your fitness level in five minutes using the Fitness Test, plan a complete training season, and share your results. With a battery life of up to 400 hours, you can train for more than a year on a single battery when working out for one hour a day.

The strap's battery (CR2025) is user-replaceable, featuring Bluetooth® and ANT+ technology.

The strap is water-resistant and compatible with various fitness apps. It can be used in group settings without interference from other heart rate sensors.

This item is compatible with the PM5 (wirelessly) and compatible with the PM4, PM3, PM2+, and PM2 as long as you also use Concept2's heart rate sensor (PN1862).

Note for PM4 users: If the PM4 has firmware version 300 or higher (More options > Settings > Product ID > Firmware), the H9 can be paired with the PM4 wirelessly via ANT+ without needing the Concept2 heart rate sensor (PN1862).
